# OFFER_NOT_OWNED

> HTTP 403, from 11 operations of the Admin API.

Its problem `type`: `https://developers.tassyir.io/errors/offer-not-owned`; its `title`: Offer not owned by this app.

## What to do

HTTP 403. You tried to change, or read the codes or redemptions of, an offer
your installation did not create: the merchant's own, or another app's. An
app writes only its own offers. Create your own offer with `POST /offers` and
change that one ([Write offers and codes](/guides/write-offers#you-write-only-the-offers-you-own)).
The merchant's dashboard has a counterpart you never get: editing or
duplicating an **app-owned** offer there answers 409 `OFFER_APP_OWNED`,
because such an offer is changed in the app that owns it.

The answer's `fix`: Create your own offer with POST /offers and change that one; the merchant edits their own offers in the dashboard.
